Her film credits include co-producer of the independent feature, PAPER, ROCK, SCISSORS. She has worked on numerous independent and studio films in a variety of capacities.
After PAPER, ROCK, SCISSORS, Noon wanted to work on something that mattered to her personally; the story of how women struggle with body image every day of their lives and the debilitating affect it can have on productivity and quality of life. It seemed a subject that hadn't been dealt with much in film, and she wanted to compassionately share the stories of women across the country who had had similar experiences showing how size and age has nothing to do with self-esteem. BODY: THE VALUE OF WOMEN is a part of Women's Studies programs at universities and colleges all over the world.
As the founder and executive director of the international filmmaking institute TANO MEDIA INSTITUTE, whose belief is: “Change the stories that are told about the world, and you change the world.”
Noon also founded INDEPENDENT WOMEN FILMMAKERS in 1999, a non-profit organization directed by Jean-Marie Mayer, which connects women filmmakers in every position of the entertainment business to each other non-competitively through the Film Forum and website www.independentwomenfilmmakers.com
